LIVE Updates - South Carolina vs Morehead State Final Game

The South Carolina Gamecocks are looking to improve to (14-3) on the season Sunday with their final game against Morehead State.

The South Carolina Gamecocks have won the first two games of their three game weekend series against Morehead State. Apart from a three-game sweep against the Clemson Tigers, the South Carolina Gamecocks have made lightwork of their non-conference schedule.

Following this final game against Morehead State, the Gamecocks will host Georgia State for a midweek matchup prior to hosting Oklahoma next weekend for the SEC season opener. They will need the lineup to be peaking entering conference play, and the pitching rotation will need to remain elite to contend in an always loaded SEC.

Second Inning: Gamecocks leave a man in scoring position; 0-0
Top: Kean flied out to center. CIsneros grounded out to pitcher. Kearns grounds out to second.

Bottom: Jones struck out. Scobey singled to become the first base runner for the Gamecocks. Hollins singled; Scobey to second. LeCroy flies out to right. Carrion hits into a fielder's choice; Hollins out at second.

Third Inning: No scoring through three
Top: Edmonds walked to begin the inning. Robbins grounds into a double play. Olson hit by pitch. Olson steals second. Thomas popped up to first.
