Head Coach Shane Beamer will take a break from his busy recruiting trail this Sunday to join in on some pre-baseball game festivities. South Carolina's baseball team enters a three-game series against the Missouri Tigers this weekend, but Beamer will get things going Sunday with the ceremonial first pitch.

South Carolina's baseball team has had an excellent start to the season, so it's good to see the university's other teams supporting the squad. The Gamecocks rank 11th in the NCAA rankings and currently sport an impressive 20-2 record.

Beamer has also had an impressive past few months, securing a few prominent commitments from top prospects Nyckoles Harbor and Kam Pringle. The team is looking to build off of a promising 2022 season which saw the team fair 8-5 and finish in the top 25 rankings. Beamer has become known as a strong supporter of fellow athletic teams at South Carolina, so it is no surprise seeing him participate in the pregame ceremonies on Sunday.
