In-State Wideout & 2026 Prospect To Visit South Carolina This Spring

South Carolina's football program will host one of the top in-state wide receiver talents from the 2026 class in Jordon Gidron this Spring.

Jordon Gidron, the highly touted 2026 wide receiver from Ridge View High School, has announced his spring visit schedule. As we head into the heart of the recruiting season for 2025 prospects, Gidron has outlined a tour that will see him explore a handful of the nation's premier college football programs. Included in Gidron's list is the South Carolina Gamecocks, where he is expected to receive a warm welcome and hopefully strong pitch from a program eager to bolster their offensive weaponry with his talent and keep one of the state's best 2026 prospects home.

Gidron is also set to visit Clemson, another instate college known for their recent run of NFL-caliber receivers. Not to be overlooked, Indiana, Alabama, and North Carolina State are also on Gidron's agenda. Each school presents its unique appeal, from the Hoosiers' growing program to the Crimson Tide's championship pedigree and the Wolfpack's reputation for producing professional-level talent.

At 6-foot-2 and boasting a blend of speed and agility, Gidron has been a standout at Ridge View, showcasing the kind of playmaking ability that has made him one of the most sought-after receivers in his class. As he embarks on these spring visits, Gidron will weigh his options, looking for the right academically and athletically fit. Carolina will hope to add Jordon's skills to their roster in the 2026 season. As the recruitment process heats up for 2025, there's still time to get a head start on some of the best the 2026 class has to offer.
