South Carolina Hosting Austin Swartz

South Carolina is hosting guard Austin Swartz for an unofficial visit as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

National analyst Jamie Shaw says four-star guard Austin Swartz plans to be in Columbia today for South Carolina's contest against Arkansas. This will not be his first time at South Carolina, as Swartz has been a frequent visitor going back to last season under the old staff.

One of his last visits to South Carolina was at a football game against Georgia, which he took with 2024 prospects Elijah Crawford and KJ Greene, two other four-stars Carolina is heavily recruiting.

Swartz has offers from schools like Houston, Clemson, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and others. It's a very strong list, and he hopes to add South Carolina soon.

He spoke with Shaw and shared some eye-opening quotes. South Carolina is well-positioned in his recruitment and looking to take a big step today. The 2024 class projects to be a strong group for Carolina, one that features a lot of talent from the Palmetto State.

Several other targets include Cam Scott, Crawford, and Greene, and head coach Lamont Paris has done a nice job positioning the Gamecocks in each battle.
