The TCU Horned Frogs who are 7-0 will face No. 24 Clemson who are 8-0 on Saturday, December 9 at 3 pm CT. in the Discount Tire Hall of Fame Series Toronto. The game will be held at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario and televised on FS1. This game will be the Horned Frogs’ first regular season game in another country since the 2015-16 season when they competed in the Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico. This will also be the Frogs first time ever in Canada. TCU and Clemson are two of 13 schools who have not been beaten this season. The Horned Frogs are one out of only three schools with undefeated men’s and women’s basketball programs, joining Baylor and Colorado State. This is one of the Frogs hottest starts ever as they are 7-0 for the first time since the 2017-18 season when they were 12-0. This is a great start for the Frogs as they will have one of the toughest ranked remaining schedules. The Frogs have also won their games by an average of 25.6 points per game, which ranks fourth nationally.

The Frogs will look for Emanuel Miller, the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, to have a big game as he will be playing in front of his home country. Miller is averaging 15.9 points per game, which ranks 10th in the Big 12.

The Frogs will also look to key players JaKobe Coles, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Micah Peavy. Coles ranks fourth in the Big 12 in field goal percentage (61.8) and Peavy ranks sixth (57.8). Jameer Nelson Jr. leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth nationally with 3.1 steals per game. Nelson is one of only three players nationally that is averaging at least 11.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

Since Jamie Dixon has been head coach the Frogs have been electric in the months of November and December, going 75-11. They have also been 29-13 at neutral sites. TCU is now receiving AP Top 25 votes so look for them to play hard and try to remain undefeated.

Clemson has been really good this season so far as they are off to their best start since the 2008-09 season. Last game they defeated South Carolina 72-67 in a very close matchup game. Clemson holds the all-time series lead at 3-0. The last meeting was a 62-60 overtime win by the Tigers in Las Vegas, Nevada. TCU Legend Desmond Bane had 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

The Frogs will look to minimize turnovers and start off quickly so they can get a good rhythm set.
