TCU Women's Basketball Dominates Texas Tech in 73-52 Win

On senior night, the Horned Frogs led from start to finish thanks to a monster game from Sedona Prince. TCU has now won four in a row.

It was a rout in Fort Worth as TCU cruised to a victory over Texas Tech by a final of 73-52. The Frogs (19-9, 6-11) showed out on senior night honoring Paige Bradley, Knisha Godfrey, and Jaden Owens

TCU outrebounded the Lady Raiders (16-14, 5-12) by an astounding 47-28 margin. They also scored 38 points in the paint to their six. The majority of this was thanks to Sedona Prince. In her second game back off injury, she took over this game scoring 29 points with 11 rebounds and five blocks. She also missed just one shot all game.

Prince continues to show why she is one of the most dominant players in college basketball with her size and finesse around the rim. She also knocked down a pair of triples making her that much more lethal.

TCU ended the first half on a strong 12-2 run to open up a 21-point lead. Because of the elite shot blocking of Prince, the Lady Raiders were restricted to the perimeter and went 11-32 from deep.

Despite their best efforts to run quickly in transition, Texas Tech couldn't put together consistent offense as TCU grew the lead to 25 in the fourth quarter.

It was a big game for Agnes Emma-Nnopu, who had 11 points and ten rebounds. Madison Conner also had 13 points with six assists. She is one three-pointer shy of breaking the program record for most three-pointers in a season (87) set by Zahna Medley in 2016.

The win made Mark Campbell the winningest first-year head coach in program history. Despite all the obstacles he has faced this season, this team just keeps pushing, and it's been an inspirational story to follow.
