Women's Basketball Poll Watching Week 17: Texas Moves Up to No. 3

The Texas Longhorns women's basketball team (26-3, 13-3 Big 12) jumped two spots this week and are now the No. 3 team in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Polls with only two games left in the regular season.
South Carolina (27-0, 14-0 SEC) remains undefeated and the unanimous pick for the top spot in both polls. With only two games left, the Gamecocks are trying to go undefeated in the second straight regular season.
Ohio State (24-3, 15-1 Big Ten) is number two in both polls, followed by Texas. Stanford (24-4, 13-3 Pac-12) and Virginia Tech (23-4, 14-2 ACC) comprise the rest of the top five, but those two flip positions between the two polls.

- Kansas State - No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and No. 14 in the Coaches Poll
- Oklahoma - No. 20 in the AP Top 25 and No. 22 in the Coaches Poll

- West Virginia - No. 24 (tied) in the AP Top 25 and No. 25 in the Coaches Poll
- Kansas - Receiving votes in the Coaches Poll (#33)
