TCU Football vs BYU: Staff Predictions And Game Previews

The TCU Horned Frogs (3-3, 1-2) have lost back-to-back games for the first time since October 2021. This week, they renew a conference rivalry by welcoming the BYU Cougars (4-1, 1-1) to Fort Worth. The game will be played at Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday, October 14, at 2:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN.

This will be the 12th meeting between the two teams. TCU leads the series 6-5. The two teams played together in the Mountain West Conference from 2005-2010. The last time the two met was in 2011, TCU's last season in the MWC and BYU's first season as an independent. That game was played in AT&T Stadium in Arlington. TCU won that game 38-28.

TCU is currently a 5.5-point favorite per SISportsbook.com. But how does our staff feel the game will go?

In Week 6, our staff unanimously picked TCU, and TCU lost. So, everyone is at 3-3 on the season. This week, our staff was not unanimous in our picks for the first time all season.
