Beach Volleyball: No. 5 TCU Goes Undefeated In First Home Tournament

No. 5 TCU beach volleyball goes 4-0 in Horned Frog Challenge to extend home winning streak to 45 games.

No. 5 TCU beach volleyball went 4-0 in their first home tournament of the season, the Horned Frog Challenge. They now have a 45-match home winning streak dating back to March 6, 2020.

They got wins over SFA, Tulane, UC Davis and UAB.

This duo is now 12-0 to start the season.

Friday, March 8

Beat SFA 4-1

Tara Patton and Kassidy Chun were the only duo to drop a set. TCU moves to 2-0 against SFA in program history.

Beat Tulane 4-1

The Frogs get a win in the first conference game of the year moving to 9-1 against the Green Wave all time. Ana Vergara/Anete Namike and Tara Patton/Josie Sek got their first wins as duos. 

Saturday, March 9

Beat UC Davis 4-0

The Frogs' fifth sweep of the season is the second over UC Davis moving to 4-0 all-time against the Aggies. Hallie Corinne Frist/Morgan Williams got their first win as a duo. 

Beat UAB 4-0

TCU remains unbeaten against the Blazers all-time at 11-0. Keagan Polk and Emma Glagau got their first win as a duo.

The Horned Frogs move to 11-1 on the season and continue to have one of the best home advantages in the nation.

Up Next: TCU will go to Boca Raton, Fla. for the FAU Beach Invitational from March 15-16. They will first face No. 13 FAU at 6:30 a.m. CT on Friday, March 15.
