The Frogs had an impressive final tournament to close out their fall season. This young TCU Women's golf team shattered another team record at the Jim West Invitational. They broke the program record for low round vs. par on the final day of action. The Frogs shot a 17 under final round at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas.

"What a great round to end our fall. I am proud of their resilience through a tough fall season. I have known all along what this team is made of day in and day out. This gives us great momentum going into our 'off season' to prepare for an unforgettable spring. They are capable of so much more and we will work extremely hard to accomplish our dreams and goals!"

Team Captain Lois Lau continued her amazing season as she had eight birdies on the day to finish the tournament at 14 under. She concluded the tournament with a 3rd-place finish. Lau's highest finish of the season comes after dominating 54 holes. In over three rounds of play, Lau sank 18 total birdies and an eagle to add to her stellar fall season. She now ranks second all-time for birdies made in school history, passing Sanna Nuutinen with 329. She is just 29 birdies shy of overtaking TCU great Sabrina Iqbal as TCU's all-time leader.

Sofia Barroso Sa also had an impressive final day, shooting a 7 under (65) while carding eight total birdies. The sophomore broke her own record as she carded her low-round score of (65). This earned her 14th place overall.

Junior Meagan Winans had her best finish this season, firing a 5-under (67), including five birdies. She finished tied for 28th at 2-under overall. This was her best finish as a Horned Frog so far.

Sofie Dimitrova finished the tournament at 10-over, while Sheridan Clancy wrapped up the tournament for TCU at 25-over.

The Horned Frogs will look to continue getting better, in the off-season and continue how they left off. They have a very young team, so the sky is the limit for their success.
