In both days of competition, Katie Zaun led all shooters in marks, firing 1189 in the three-team match and 1191 in the dual against Ohio State. Zaun's performance was a masterclass, putting up her second score of the year in smallbore with a 596. This mark tied Zaun for the third-best school record in the discipline and is the highest mark by any competitor in the NCAA this year.

Zaun was not the only familiar name at the top of the scoring, with Stephanie Grundsoee tying Zaun for first place in the three-team meet and finishing second in the dual meet. Highlighting her performance was earning the top mark in air rifle with a score of 598.

The Horned Frogs scored a 4736 aggregate score in the three-way match, beating out Air Force, who shot a 4706, and Ohio State, who finished with a score of 4699. In the dual with Ohio State, The Frogs scored a 4730, narrowly beating out the Buckeyes, who finished with a score of 4715.

Stephanie Allan, Jeanne Haverhill, and Nina Schuett would continue putting up solid numbers for the all-women-led rifle team, placing in the top 10 in both weekend matches.

TCU also got a big addition with Anne White returning from injury after missing the final four matches of the fall Slate. At the same time, it would shoot an aggregate score of 1167, with a 589 in air rifle and a 576 in smallbore.

The Horned Frogs will be back in action on January 21st, with their third straight match against Ohio State, but this time on the Buckeyes home turf.
