Green Bay Packers Interested In Jalin Hyatt

According to reports, the Green Bay Packers are interested in former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Jalin Hyatt. The Packers hold three first-round picks in the NFL Draft.

Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is gaining steam as a first-round prospect. Hyatt turned in an excellent combine performance, measuring in as one of the most explosive skill players at the entire event.

That, coupled with his fantastic junior season, should be enough to get him into the top 32 picks. There isn't a consensus No. 1 receiver in this draft class, meaning it should be more about prospects and team fits. One team, in particular, is reportedly carrying a strong interest in Hyatt a few weeks away from the draft.

The Green Bay Packers are coming off an 8-9 season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers seems to be on his way to the New York Jets; the two sides had meetings in previous days, and all three parties are waiting on Rodgers's decision.

Green Bay seems ready to move on to a new era of football, which presumably stars Jordan Love as their franchise quarterback. The team brass seems intent on finding him some help from skill positions and is zeroing in on several receivers ahead of the draft.

According to reports, Hyatt met with the Packers at the NFL Combine, and the team decision-makers are impressed with what he brings to the table. Head coach Matt LaFleur runs a West-Coast offense that requires a lot of speed from the wideouts.

There are sure to be a plethora of teams interested in Hyatt. Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jordan Addison, and Josh Downs are some of the other top names in the receiver class, but as we've seen in the past, speed goes high in the draft, and Hyatt is the best downfield threat of everyone available.
