AUSTIN -- The Texas Longhorns are entering the final stages of practice before kicking off the Orange-White Spring Game on Saturday, April 20, but it's not all about Xs and Os for coach Steve Sarkisian.

The Longhorns got to take a break from the practice reps on Thursday when rapper and 10-time Grammy nominee Travis Scott surprised the team by pulling up to DKR as part of his Cactus Jack college tour.

He was met by a mob of players as he ran onto the field and even got some kickoff returns in while sporting Texas gear.

Take a look:

Scott, a Houston native and former UT-San Antonio student, announced on social media Wednesday that he'd be heading to Austin. He signed fan merchandise and sold Texas-themed apparel at the Moody Center, which unsurprisingly featured a long line of students

"It was amazing just seeing him out here," Texas linebacker Anthony Hill said. "It was kind of a surprise, we didn't know, so it was kind of amazing that we got celebrity fans and fans that are watching us from all over the world."

"We're at the University of Texas so sometimes it's not really a surprise," Texas running back CJ Baxter said.

Here's a look at Scott returning a kickoff in a burnt orange Texas jersey:

Scott's college tour continues at USC on Thursday evening.
