UCLA Women's Basketball: Coach Close Excited For Challenge USC Brings

In this story:
The UCLA Bruins have been rolling this season, as they ended their non-conference play by going undefeated. The team has gelled in a way that has been showcased in their dominance against practically every opponent.
However, the USC Trojans have also gone undefeated, and are set to face off against the Bruins on December 30.
Both teams have stellar squads, and though UCLA is ranked #2 and USC is ranked #6, the game should be quite exciting. That is exactly what Coach Close thinks, and she stated just that after the team routed Hawai'i.
“It’s going to be a blast,” coach Cori Close said Thursday after the Bruins routed Hawaii 85-46 to improve to 11-0. “We’re not even close to playing our best basketball.”

The fact that Coach Close thinks the Bruins have not even played their best basketball is quite exciting, cause it looks to us like they have been on top of their game this entire time.
The Bruins will certainly need to be on top of their game when USC comes to town, but we believe the young squad is up for the challenge.
With Lauren Betts and Charisma Osborne playing lights out, there might not be many schools that can keep pace with them. Coach Close understands this and knows it will all be a "blast."
UCLA and USC will throw down in the first Pac-12 game of the season on December 30 at 5 p.m. Get your popcorn ready.
