UCLA Women's Basketball Pac-12 Tournament: How To Watch, Predictions, And More

UCLA begins Pac-12 Tournament play tonight.

UCLA women's basketball begins play in the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday night, with a matchup against Utah. The Bruins had a bye in the first round of the conference tournament, but will now play Utah after they defeated Arizona State.

The Bruins come into this game after ending their regular season on a five-game winning streak. They hold the No. 3 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament.

UCLA has played Utah twice this season, going 1-1 in those two matchups. While the Bruins lost to Utah 94-81 in January, they more recently dominated the Utes in an 82-52 win on Feb 22.

How to Watch

Utah-UCLA will begin at 8:30 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and will also air on the Fubo TV app.

Predictions

Londynn Jones could be an underrated piece for UCLA in this game. The last time UCLA played Utah a few weeks ago, Jones led the team with 23 points. She also led the team in their most recent game, with 16 points against Arizona. Jones is especially dangerous as a three-point shooter, having set the UCLA single-season record for most three-pointers made with 78 this year.

Also look out for Lauren Betts, who has been another extra key piece for UCLA. The All-Pac-12 team member recorded a double-double in the Bruins' last game, versus Arizona, with 11 points and 12 rebounds. The 6'7" center is regularly a mismatch that UCLA can use to their advantage.

UCLA 78, Utah 68

More

Utah's top player is Alissa Pili. The Bruins have done a decent job limiting Pili in both games this season. However, if they can limit everyone else outside of Pili, the Bruins should have enough firepower to outscore the Utes.
