USC Football: Justin Fields Reacts to Caleb Williams Draft Rumors

The current Chicago Bears quarterback is tired of the talk.

The 2034 NFL draft is over two months away, and USC star quarterback Caleb Williams is at the forefront of it. Williams is projected to be the number one pick in April's draft.

If so, he will head to the Windy City and become a Chicago Bear.

However, the Bears have a quarterback of their own at the moment, Ohio State's own Justin Fields. Whether Chicago will stick with Fields or move on from him and draft Williams is uncertain.

It's the talk of the draft as we slowly approach it, and Fields is already tired of it. In a recent appearance on the St. Browns Bros Podcast, Fields mentioned that he's tired of all the 'keep Fields or draft Caleb' talk.

"I'm about to go on vacation, and I don't want to see no football. And guess what, it's either keep Fields, we want Fields, or it's draft Caleb, so it's like, man, I'm tired of hearing the talk. I just want it to be over."

The former USC Trojan Amon Ra St. Brown initially asked Fields why he unfollowed the Chicago Bears on social media. Fields then explained why in the comment above.

The task all off-season long, and heading into the draft, is on the Bears and what they'll do with the number one pick. Fields has done okay in Chicago, and he'll be garnering some money soon. However, is it worth giving money to someone with an 11-29 record as a starter?

Williams is the bright, new, shining toy that any franchise would be lucky to possess, especially the Bears. It's been a quarterback carousel for the Bears in the past decade. They need a quarterback who can transcend the franchise, and Williams will be that guy if all the pieces around him are flowing, too.

It's all a mystery what the Bears will do, but we'll find out the answer to the lingering question soon enough.
