It's that time of year when losses matter a lot more as we close out the month of October, sort the wheat from the chaff in the conference races, and prepare for the CFP selection committee to release its first rankings of the season. Where does that leave things in this week's other college football rankings?

  • Five ranked teams lost on Saturday, including No. 6 Oklahoma in a shocker at unranked Kansas
  • Utah had no answer for Oregon as its 18-game home win streak was snapped
  • North Carolina dropped a second straight, this time to Georgia Tech
  • Louisville moved further into ACC contention by taking down Duke
  • USC needed to thwart a 2-point conversion to beat Cal on the road

Who's moving up this week? And who's moving down in the rankings? Here's your look at the updated top 25 heading into Week 10, according to the coaches' vote.

UCLA (Up 4). The Bruins overcame some costly turnovers to take down Colorado at home.

Tennessee (Up 4). A big win at Kentucky keeps the Vols in the SEC East title chase but big games are still to come on the schedule.
