New York Yankees star Aaron Judge made an incredible catch on Saturday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, but he may have paid a price for it.

The reigning American League MVP sat out Sunday's series finale (a Yankees win) and after the game, discussed a possible injury suffered on the play.

Aaron Judge when asked if he might have a broken toe:

"It's tough to say. I've never broken a toe. We'll see what the tests say. I don't want to throw anything out there."

Asked if it's a possible IL: "If I'm on it, I'm on it. I'm trying not to be but I got no answer yet."

Judge has already been on the IL once this year for a hip issue, and any additional absences would cause major issues for a Yankees team that is among the best in baseball -- when Judge plays.

After winning the MVP a season ago, he's hitting .291 this year with 19 homers and 40 RBI. He's added three stolen bases. For his career, he's a .284 hitter with 239 home runs.

Judge signed a massive nine-year, $360 million contract this offseason that will likely keep him in New York for the rest of his career. In addition to the MVP award, Judge has won Rookie of the Year, a home run derby title, three Silver Slugger awards, and is a four-time All-Star selection.

The Yankees are currently 36-25 and will host the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. ET.
