New York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader is battling a hamstring injury and could require an injured list stint, according to manager Aaron Boone.

After beating out an infield single on Monday against the Seattle Mariners, Bader left the game with a right hamstring issue.

After the game, Boone spoke. The information was relayed on Twitter by Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

Aaron Boone on Harrison Bader, who is scheduled for an MRI on his right hamstring tomorrow: “They don’t seem to think it’s too serious, but you don’t want to rule out an IL [assignment]. We’ll see what we have tomorrow.”

The Yankees beat the Mariners, 10-4, thanks to a big performance from Aaron Judge, so the Bader injury was really the only blemish on the evening.

Bader was 2-2 on the night before leaving and is now hitting .267 this season with six home runs and 19 RBI. He's added six stolen bases.

For his career, he's a .246 hitter with 58 homers and 196 RBI.

He made his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2017 and stayed there until being traded to the Yankees in 2022.

The Yankees will wait for the results of his MRI but his injury comes as the Yankees got good news on Giancarlo Stanton, who is set to start his rehab assignment on Tuesday.

The Yankees are currently 33-23 on the season and in third place in the American League East. The loss dropped the Mariners to 28-26 and into fourth place in the American League West.

The two teams will play each other again Tuesday at 9:40 p.m. ET.
