Atlanta Braves Fans Register on Richter Scale While Celebrating Wild NLDS Game 2 Win

In this story:
Atlanta Braves fans might have literally moved the Earth after watching their team pull off a crazy comeback at Truist Park on Monday night.
According to Live Storms Media meteorologist Chris Jackson, two stations in the Atlanta area picked up small anomalies just after 9:16 p.m. ET. That lines up with the end of Game 2 of the NLDS between the Braves and Philadelphia Phillies – a showdown that came down to the wire.
Nick Castellanos was on the verge of tying the game in the top of the ninth inning, but center fielder Michael Harris II robbed him of an extra-base hit with a leaping grab at the wall. The young outfielder turned and relayed the ball into the infield to eventually double up Bryce Harper at first, securing the Braves a 5-4 win.
Harris made history with a game-ending double play, and he apparently made the ground shake as well.
Wonder if these little anomalies a couple mins after it happened was the ground literally shaking from the double play that ended the Braves game at around 9:16 or so. The Braves had a record sellout streak at Truist Park this year, and they ended the regular season 52-29 at home. Atlanta dropped Game 1 of the NLDS on their home turf, though, meaning the club needed to eke out a win Monday to avoid going down 0-2.
That's exactly what they did, and their fans were able to let out sighs of relief amid all the hoopla in the bleachers.
The NLDS will now move to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia – another stadium known for its postseason noise – for Game 3 on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 5:07 p.m. ET.
🔊 VOLUME UP! Truist Park was ROCKING after that wild ending!
