The first two games of the series will be played in Houston via the Astros being the American League West champions. The next three games will be played in Arlington, with games six and seven being played in Houston again.
Games 5-7 are "if necessary games."
It should be a great series between two division foes that know each other very well. Houston beat the Rangers 9-4 in the season series this year and captured the division title on the final day of the regular season.
Both teams feature great lineup depth but the Astros figure to have the stronger pitching, anchored by future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander.
The Rangers pitching could get stronger though, depending on the availability of Max Scherzer.
