Gold Glove Award Finalists Announced For American League, National League

In this story:
The finalists for the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards have been unveiled.
Three players have been selected for each position in each league, in addition to three utility nominees per league. The Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays lead the American League with five finalists apiece, while the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers boast four each.
In accordance with the old adage of defense winning championships, the Rangers and Phillies are on a crash course to meet in the World Series after going up 2-0 in the ALCS and NLCS, respectively.
Gold Glove winners are voted on by managers and coaches across the league. They cannot vote for players on their own team.
The winners will be announced Nov. 5 on ESPN.
