Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has won AL Player of the Week, while Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen and Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson have been named co-NL Players of the Week, MLB announced Monday afternoon.

Altuve is the third Astro to win the award in the last five weeks, as outfielder Chas McCormick won it on July 17 and starting pitcher Framber Valdez won it on Aug. 7.

The veteran second baseman went 13-for-25 with a home run, six RBI, three doubles, five walks and a stolen base in six games over the past week. Altuve put up a .520 batting average and 1.373 OPS, leading Houston to a 4-2 record.

Lorenzen had a historic week, tossing a no-hitter against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night. The right-hander faced just 31 batters, striking out five en route to a complete game shutout.

Olson, on the other hand, was a standout at the plate, taking hold of the the league lead in both home runs and RBI. In seven games, Olson went 12-for-30 with four home runs, 10 RBI, a double and nine walks, posting a .400 batting average and 1.372 OPS in the process.

Lorenzen and Olson are the first NL players to share the weekly award this season. On the AL side, New York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German and Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani split Player of the Week honors on July 3.
