Dana White Responds To Backlash Over Bud Light-UFC Deal: "Nobody Tells Me What To Say"

White has fired back at the political backlash over the deal.

It's no secret that fight fans on the conservative side of politics have taken a liking to the UFC, but their feathers were ruffled recently when the promotion announced it would be partnering with Bud Light once again.

While a situation like this would typically mean nothing more for fans other than a nostalgia trip, political views continue to make their way to sports and just about anything else enjoyable.

Those on an anti-woke crusade criticized the UFC for relinking with Bud Light, as those people are still upset with Anheuser-Busch for the company's "wokeness." The self-proclaimed boycotters truly became enraged when transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney partnered with Bud Light for an ad campaign.

UFC CEO Dana White fired back at the small outrage when speaking to media members recently.

"Everybody talks about, 'Oh, you did it for money,'  hey, dummies, all sponsorship deals are about money," White said. "So, when you talk about being a sellout, I had multiple deals in front of me. It's not like, 'Oh, Bud Light showed up and they were the only option I had to make money. You know how f****** stupid that is to think that?"

White went on to blast one person who accused him of reading off a script during the Bud Light partnership announcement.

"I saw some other f****** a***** today saying, 'Oh, it sounds like they wrote him a script on what to say,' nobody writes me a script. Nobody tells me what to say, ever. I do things because when I come out and I say something publicly, if you look at every quote that I put out, every quote is me. Everything that's posted on social media is me, and everything that comes out of this mouth is me. Nobody tells me what to say and nobody tells me what to do, ever."

The UFC's new partnership with Anheuser-Busch will last for six years and is worth north of $100 million. White has put over how many jobs the beer company has created in North America and the amount of money they've put in to take care of the families of law enforcement workers, as well as contributions made to farmers.
