Dana White Teases Massive UFC Super Fight Not Involving Conor McGregor

White drops a huge tease.

UFC CEO Dana White has revealed that a big dream fight is currently being discussed.

It's no secret that fans yearn for mega fights. Past high-profile dream matches such as GSP vs. Anderson Silva slipped through our fingertips, but sometimes you do get those rare gems such as Amanda Nunes vs. Cris Cyborg and GSP vs. BJ Penn, which have indeed come to fruition.

No matter what time it is, it's always fun to discuss dream bouts, and White might just be cooking one up for UFC fans.

White recently spoke to his good friends over on the "Full Send Podcast" and he dropped a potential bombshell on future plans. When asked if there could be any "super fight" possibly brewing, the UFC boss gave a surprising answer.

"There is," White said. "We're talking about one right now, actually, that just popped up a few days ago. So, I can't talk about it."

The UFC CEO was then asked if this "super fight" would involve Conor McGregor.

"Well, every fight that you would consider a super fight would involve McGregor, but this one isn't, no."

Let the speculation game begin.

Of course, it's likely that such a bout won't happen until at least 2024 given that the final month of UFC action this year has shaped up nicely barring unforeseen injuries. Of course, many will speculate that White is talking about UFC 300 for such a big fight, but he has not confirmed the possible timing.

The final UFC pay-per-view event of 2023 will be UFC 296, headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Leon Edwards and Colby Covington.
