UFC Veteran Makes Shocking Prediction For Potential Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz MMA Fight

A stunning prediction for a possible Paul vs. Diaz MMA showdown.

Not many saw this prediction coming from a respected UFC veteran.

Back in August, social media sensation-turned boxer Jake Paul went one-on-one with former UFC title challenger Nate Diaz. This was a 10-round boxing match. Paul scored a knockdown in the fight and was able to earn a unanimous decision victory.

Paul has been calling for an MMA rematch under the PFL banner. If that ends up happening, UFC fan favorite Matt Brown believes Paul would go 2-0 against the Stockton native.

During an edition of MMAFighting's "Fighter vs. Writer," Matt Brown told Damon Martin that he would pick Jake Paul to pull off the upset over Nate Diaz in a pro MMA fight.

"Jake Paul, I'm gonna pick him to win," Brown said. "I'm gonna pick him to beat Nate Diaz in MMA. We already know he can outbox him, right? When was the last time you've seen Nate Diaz take someone down? But, I don't think he'll be able take him down even if he tries to. Like, he's way, way undersized. Jake Paul is so much bigger than him. I don't know what weight it'll be at, probably 185. Nate's not a great wrestler. It's gonna end up staying on the feet."

Paul has been doing promotional work for the PFL, sporting official fight gear and posing for the cameras. Before he steps foot inside the PFL SmartCage, "The Problem Child" will go one-on-one with Andre August in a boxing match on December 15.

As for Diaz, he has not committed to the PFL's fight offer. Diaz has shown loyalty to the UFC, and has said that if the MMA fight with Paul is to happen, then he demands cross-promotion with his Real Fight Inc. brand.
