UFC President Dana White's Viral Quote On Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler

The UFC boss spoke to media members and discussed the matchup.

UFC President Dana White has MMA fans buzzing after his latest comments on the expected Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler bout.

McGregor and Chandler will serve as opposing coaches on season 31 of "The Ultimate Fighter." The season premiere will air on May 30 on ESPN. The plan is for the two to share the Octagon at some point this year, but until recently, the "Notorious" one had been at odds with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). That issue has seemingly been cleared up.

During a media scrum following UFC Vegas 73, Dana White discussed McGregor's current situation with USADA and the testing pool.

"He has to get into the USADA pool first," White said. "He's filling out the paperwork. I don't know how soon that'll be done or what's going on, but that's his business that he's handling with USADA, but it's all in motion."

As far as when McGregor and "Iron" Michael Chandler will finally throw down, the UFC boss has a time frame in mind before the end of the year.

"Yeah, I mean, that's what we're shooting for," White said. "Hopefully, we have a big fight in Madison Square Garden in November, and then a big fight in December."

McGregor has been making the rounds promoting his Proper No. 12 Irish whiskey and his "McGregor Forever" docuseries on Netflix. He was recently seen at the 3Arena in Dublin to support boxing champion Katie Taylor, who fell short in her bid to claim another set of world titles against Chantelle Cameron.
