The unbeaten fighter and Topp met in a welterweight bout in Hallandale Beach, Florida, on a card that already had seen some unusual action when former UFC fighter Dean Barry injured his ankle during a mixed rules bout and went on to lose via TKO.

Hernandez had already ended the first two fights of his career in the first round, but even he probably never dreamed of finishing a bout as quickly or dramatically as he did against Topp.

The 26-year-old did move to the center of the cage with his lead hand extended as if he wanted to touch gloves, but regardless of his intention the incredible head kick sent the Florida crowd into an absolute frenzy for the local fighter.

The Titan FC broadcast officially announced the win as being a one-second knockout, and whether or not some liberties were taken with the clock there’s no doubt that Hernandez’s win was one of the fastest and most incredible finishes the sport has ever seen.

The matchup at Titan FC 83 was the 26-year-old’s third first-round finish in as many pro fights, and plenty of fans will be looking forward to his next bout after that unbelievable performance.
