Kevin Holland claims he hasn't been offered a fight with Michael "Venom" Page, despite recent assumptions that the two could be scheduled for UFC 297 in January 2024.

The rumor mill started churning when the details of UFC 297 where exposed in the background of a 'Full Send' video on November 28:

Page himself has revealed that he and the UFC have been "flirting" about a fight:

"There’s still a few hurdles we need to jump over," Page admitted on 'The MMA Fan Show' on Nov. 24. "But like I said, we’re flirting."

Speaking to 'TheMacLife', Holland denied any rumors that he's scheduled to face the Bellator alumni:

"I haven't been offered any fights... I haven't been offered any fights like whatsoever. ...But, I'm too hood for my own good."

It is entirely possible that the matchup shown in the video is hypothetical, and it was revealed before the UFC reached out to either fighter.

The UFC has a history of booking or announcing fights prior to confirming with the fighters involved. An example of this is when Marlon Vera discovered he would be having a rematch with Sean O'Malley during an appearance on 'The MMA Hour'.

Regardless of whether Holland is set to fight Page or not, fans who are eager to see "MVP" in action can remain optimistic knowing that the UFC is considering his presence.
