UFC 300 Poster Reveal Has Fans up in Arms

Fans are displeased with the UFC 300 poster.

Fans aren't happy now that the UFC 300 poster has finally been revealed.

The UFC's tricentennial PPV is dripping top to bottom with ranked matchups, and fans have anticipated the card for quite some time. Upon the UFC's unveiling of the official poster for the event on March 20 via their social channels, fans and critics immediately began slamming it.

The unconventional design features no fighters, instead opting for a glossy, golden flag with the 'UFC 300' custom font design embossed as the sole design choice. The roster's surnames are listed below, like those on a film poster.

Commenters branded the poster as the "worst event poster in the history of combat sports," with others suggesting high school students could have made it. While it certainly lacks creative flair, the event number sells itself, UFC 300 could be the biggest MMA event of the year barring Conor McGregor's return.

UFC 300 has faced significant backlash, with numerous people criticizing the selection of fights, especially the main event. Initially, it was said that "The Notorious" McGregor would return at the event, but circumstances changed. Instead, fans were treated to Alex Pereira defending his light heavyweight title against lineal champion Jamahal Hill.

The current UFC 300 lineup looks like this (subject to change):
