UFC Hall of Famer Trashes Jake Paul for Latest Boxing "Charade"

"The Count" has lost patience with Jake Paul's boxing career.

Another former UFC champion has put Jake Paul on blast after the 26-year-old collected a quick victory in his first boxing match of the year.

“Problem Child” rebounded from the first loss of his career against Tommy Fury with wins over Andre August and UFC veteran Nate Diaz, and last weekend he made short work of Ryan Bourland when the pair met in a co-main event in Puerto Rico.

Paul’s latest boxing match was arguably the most low-profile of his career, and UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping happily put the 26-year-old on blast a few days after the event.

Paul made short work of Bourland in Puerto Rico.

“Jake ‘The Fake’ Paul does it again,” Bisping declared on his Youtube channel. “Pulls the wool over everybody’s eyes, goes out there and knocks out his opponent in Puerto Rico. Did it in round one, looked impressive. Fair enough. But the man is a fake, do not buy the wolf tickets."

Current ONE Championship titleholder and former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson also took to his own YouTube channel to criticize Paul’s choice of opponent. Bisping echoed that sentiment and threw shade at any fans who spent money to watch the event.

“This was a hand-picked, cherry-picked opponent for Jake Paul to beat up once again to continue the charade…Jake Paul was always destined to win this fight. And you are the suckers if you paid for this fight – and I know that most people didn’t.”

Paul inked a deal with the PFL last year and will allegedly make his MMA debut in 2024, but following his win over Bourland the 26-year-old appeared to tease plans for another fight under his Most Valuable Promotions banner on April 26.

“Problem Child” has repeatedly indicated he’d like to take on Diaz for his first MMA fight. However, Diaz appears disinterested in that offer and has also fueled speculation that he might be considering a return to the UFC later this year.
