LSU Gymnast Launches Her First Trading Card

Elena Arenas joins teammate Livvy Dunne with Leaf Trading Cards NIL partnership

From UConn's Paige Bueckers to LSU's Livvy Dunne to Jackson State's Leilani Armenta, Leaf Trading Cards has recently partnered with some of the most impactful women in college sports today

The Dallas-based card brand now adds one of Dunne's teammates to their growing roster of female student-athletes. LSU gymnast Elena Arenas has signed a NIL partnership with Leaf and launched her first-ever trading card, as part of the brand's Pop Century Influencer collection.

The autographed card - selling for $19.99 - is available now via Leaf until December 1.

“Having my first trading card has been a dream come true," Arenas shared with Sports Illustrated. "I feel very blessed to be in a position where I have my own trading card and I hope they become more common in the sport of gymnastics. I am so thankful for the opportunity and to everyone who helped me get to this point.”

"Leaf Trading Cards is delighted to collaborate with one of the most impactful gymnasts in the NCAA," added CJ Breen, Leaf's Director Of Marketing and Licensing. "Elena is a true game changer in her sport, and we are thrilled to have partnered with her to create her very first trading card for collectors to cherish worldwide."

A senior, Arenas has been a consistent performer for LSU since her freshman year. Among her honors, include 2023 LSU Gymnast Impact Player of the Year, 2021 SEC Vault champion, All-SEC and All-SEC Freshman Teams. She was also a member of the 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team.

Arenas' agent Miggie Suarez of Raymond Representation - who coordinated the Leaf partnerships - shared the impact of this partnership. "Leaf understands how much value female athletes bring - not only to businesses but also their respective sport. Female athletes have proven to be highly competitive and deserve to be included at the same level as their male counterparts. We have seen tremendous success in representing female athletes and have no doubt others will see their value."

Last season, LSU finished fourth nationally with a team score of 197.525 at the NCAA Championship Final. Ahead of the 2024 campaign, the Tigers' season tickets have already sold out for the first time in program history with a new record of over 8,000 tickets.

Arenas and LSU open the season January 5 at home versus Ohio State.
