Charlotte Hornets rookie forward Brandon Miller has signed a multi-year footwear and apparel endorsement deal with Nike. Nick DePaula of ESPN broke the news during last night's highly anticipated NBA Summer League game featuring Miller and Victor Wembanyama.

It is another major victory for Nike, as the brand has now secured the top two selections of the 2023 NBA Draft (Wembanyama and Miller). However, the news does not come as a surprise to those who have followed Miller since his time in college with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Miller has regularly worn retro models from the highly popular signature sneaker line of Kobe Bryant. The 20-year-old made his Summer League debut in a pair of Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'Think Pink' basketball shoes.

While most of the 2023 Draft Class continues to work on their first sneaker deal, the top three selections have already handled their business. The third overall selection, Portland Trail Blazers point guard Scoot Henderson, signed a contract with PUMA last summer before playing in the NBA G League.

It should not take much longer before all the top rookies are shut down for Summer League and start preparing for the NBA preseason. At least a few of them have already secured their future with lucrative contracts and cemented their place in sneaker history.
