Ryan Mallett dead at 35; former Arkansas QB was football coach at White Hall

Mallett was entering his second season as White Hall's head football coach

Former Arkansas quarterback and current White Hall High School head football coach Ryan Mallett has died after drowning in Florida as first reported by Deltaplex News on Tuesday afternoon.

Per the report, Mallett was transferred to a "Florida hospital from a beach," but there are no other details at this time.

Mallett led White Hall to a 4-6 record in his first season with the Bulldogs last year.
