Hector football voted SBLive Arkansas' High School Team of the Week for Nov. 6-12 (11/20/2023)

The Wildcats received more than 10,000 first-place votes

The Hector Wildcats football squad was voted SBLive Arkansas' Team of the Week for Nov. 6-12. 

Hector totaled 10,007 votes (60.58%). Mammoth Spring girls basketball came in second with 5,538 votes (33.52%). 

In a valiant effort effort on the road, the Wildcats rallied from a double-digit fourth-quarter deficit and Jackson Taylor's 40-yard field goal with five seconds remaining gave them a 37-36 victory over Mineral Springs in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
