Malvern will have a familiar face leading its football program next season after Monday's hiring of John Fogleman.

Fogleman took over a Malvern squad in 2007 that had not achieved a winning season in more than a decade and won 43 games in six seasons that included five playoff berths and a trip to the 4A state final in 2011.

Fogleman left for Little Rock Catholic in 2013 and led the Rockets to a 54-47 record, including 7-4 last year. In 2022, Fogleman guided the Rockets to one of their best seasons in school history, finishing 11-1 and making a run to the 6A semifinals.
