Lynden Christian graduate and Division II player of the year Daulton Hommes has declared for the 2019 NBA Draft, according to an ESPN report.

Hommes led Point Loma Nazarene (San Diego) to its first D-II championship appearance on March 30 and has reportedly drawn the attention of NBA scouts with his blend of size and frame at 6-foot-8, 215 pounds along with his abilities as a guard/wing.

The junior told ESPN he intends to hire an agent after an NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee evaluation, a process aimed to give players mulling early entry an accurate assessment of their draft stock.

ESPN currently ranks Hommes as the No. 96 prospect available for the upcoming draft. There are 60 players over two rounds selected in each draft

As a junior, Hommes averaged 21.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 47 percent from 3-point range. He scored 30 or more points six times, including a 37-point performance at Saint Martin's in early November.

Hommes missed his junior and senior seasons at 1A power Lynden Christian with consecutive knee injuries, which forced him to begin his college career as a walk-on at Western Washington University, where he played for two years before transferring to Point Loma.
