High schools and high school sports across Washington are closed for the school year, but the Scorebook Live Today podcast has ramped things up.

Each weekday, analyst Dan Dickau is interviewing a special guest from across the sports and entertainment spectrum. Dickau hopes to both entertain and provide perspective to understand how uniquely sports can prepare one for a wide array of things.

On Friday, George Fox men's basketball coach Maco Hamilton joined. Hamilton played for Fort Vancouver High School and, as a head coach, led Union to a WIAA 3A state championship in 2010. He talks about getting his start in coaching, and how he jumped from head high school coach to head college coach.
