CIF LA City Section 2019 football bracket updates, playoff scores: Crenshaw upsets San Fernando in Open Division

Crenshaw upset No. 2 San Fernando 26-23 to advance to the City Section semifinals.

The L.A. City Section high school football playoffs continued Friday, Nov. 15 with quarterfinal matchups across every division.

With Narbonne banned from the 2019 postseason, the Open Division is up for grabs. And Crenshaw is making a run. The No. 7 Cougars upset No. 2 San Fernando 26-23 to advance to the semifinals, where they'll play No. 3 Banning next week.

No. 1 San Pedro and No. 4 Birmingham advanced to the semifinals on the other side of the Open Division bracket.
