Saugus sophomore Nathan Perez voted Southern California boys basketball player of the week

Congratulations to Saugus sophomore Nathan Perez for being voted Scorebook Live’s Southern California boys basketball player of the week!
Perez finished with 29 points, 7 boards, and 3 assists in Saugus’ 97-95 OT win over Hart.
Perez received 76.31% of the vote, beating out Francis Parker'sDaryl Sledge Jr., who finished with 16.34%.

Andrew Ramirez, Oxnard: Ramirez helped Oxnard to a 79-31 win over Pacifica with 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Brandon Angel, Torrey Pines: Angel’s 26 points and 17 rebounds led the way for Torrey Pines as they defeated Foothills Christian 52-43.
Kenneth Simpson Jr., Chaminade: Simpson Jr. poured in 41 points for Chaminade as they took down St. Francis 83-78.
Obinna Anyanwu, Cathedral Catholic: Anyanwu scored 19 points and snagged 16 rebounds for a double-double in Cathedral Catholic’s 68-51 win over Mater Dei Catholic.
David Elliott, Birmingham: Elliot scored 25 points on 6/9 from three to go along with 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals as Birmingham defeated Chatsworth 73-55.
Peyton Watson, Long Beach Poly: Watson’s 28 point, 10 rebound double-double helped Poly to an 80-68 victory against Millikan.
Daryl Sledge Jr., Francis Parker: Sledge Jr. netted 28 points in Francis Parker’s matchup against Christian.
JT Tan, Rolling Hills Prep: Tan finished with 16 points in addition to 10 boards in Rolling Hills Prep’s 71-22 victory of Vistamar.
Evan Mobley, Rancho Christian: Mobley scored 19 points, to go along with 15 boards, 4 dimes, and 2 blocks in Rancho Christian’s 75-56 win over Ribet Academy.
