Mira Mesa senior Tautinei Puaina voted Southern California girls basketball player of the week

Congratulations to Mira Mesa senior Tautinei Puaina for being voted Scorebook Live’s Southern California girls basketball player of the week!
Puaina grabbed a double-double of 15 points, 14 rebounds for Mira Mesa in their matchup against Serra (San Diego).
Puaina received 48.32% of the vote, beating out Christian'sSimone James, who finished with 33.38%.

Raya Smith, King: Smith put up 27 points as well as 8 rebounds in King’s 67-41 win over JSerra.
Andie Payne, Huntington Beach: Payne scored 25 points to go along with 14 boards and 2 blocks in Huntington Beach’s 53-48 victory over Aliso Niguel.
Kayanna Spriggs, Mater Dei Catholic: Spriggs netted 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the Crusaders’ 75-54 win over Montgomery.
Te-hina Paopao, La Jolla Country Day: Paopao put up a double-double of 20 points, 10 rebounds in the Torreys’ victory over Tri-City Christian.
Simone James, El Cajon Christian: James netted 32 points to go along with 10 rebounds in a 71-56 win over Serra (San Diego).
