GARDEN GROVE– Sydney Gandy led Orangewood Academy with 27 points as the Spartans defeated Bonita Vista 66-59 to advance to the regional quarterfinals of the state Division 1 playoffs.

Julia Cosalan and Sylena Peterson both had 20 for the Barons. The two teams combined for 18 made threes.
