Final 2020 LA City Section boys basketball rankings: Westchester finishes No. 1

Here are the final boys basketball rankings in the LA City Section for the 2019-2020 season.

1. Westchester (22-10)
Westchester beat up Fairfax in the LA City Section Open Division championship game. The win marked head coach Ed Azzam's 15th career City Title.
2. Fairfax (26-6)
Fairfax lost big to Westchester in the LA City Section Open Division championship game.
3. King/Drew (25-9)
King/Drew lost to Westchester in the Open Division semifinals.
4. Birmingham (20-10)
Birmingham lost to Fairfax in the Open Division semifinals.
5. Gardena (27-5)
Gardena lost to Birmingham in the first round of the LA City Open Division playoffs.
6. Palisades (18-12)
Palisades won the Division 1 championship in the City Section and then made a deep run in the Division 4 CIF State playoffs. The Dolphins lost in the regional title game to Bakersfield Christian.
7. Taft (22-11)
Taft fell to King/Drew in the first round of the LA City Section Open Division playoffs.
8. Washington Prep (16-15)
Washington Prep lost to Westchester in the first round of the Open Division playoffs.
9. Narbonne (22-13)
Narbonne fell in the Division 1 LA City championship game to Palisades.
10. Granada Hills (16-13)
Granada Hills lost in the City Section Division 1 semifinals on a buzzer-beater from Narbonne's Patrick Zachery.
