Our 32-player bracket tipped off Tuesday with first-round matchups in the Ed Azzam region, then moved to the Gary McKnight region on Wednesday.

The first round continued on Thursday with matchups in the Harvey Kitani region. In the second matchup in the region, St. John Bosco/Maranatha's Tyler Dorsey, a seven seed faced Campbell Hall's Jrue Holiday, a two seed.

Here’s a look at the matchup:

(7) Tyler Dorsey, St. John Bosco/Maranatha

Dorsey was a McDonald's All-American and the 2015 Gatorade State Player of the Year. He averaged 34.0 points per game to go along with 10.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game as a senior at Maranatha. Dorsey finished in double figures in all 30 of his games, including 20 games with 30 points or more, 11 games with 40 points or more and a 52-point performance in an 85-60 win over Chaminade. He also had double-digit rebounds in 18 games, pulling in a season-high 17 boards in a loss to Chino Hills that year. Dorsey recorded 17 double-doubles and one triple-double on the season, dropping 38 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a game against Windward. As a junior, Dorsey averaged 21.4 points per game while pulling down 6.0 rebounds and dishing out 4.7 assists per contest for St. John Bosco. The Braves won the Division 2 state championship that season over Folsom. In his sophomore season at St. John Bosco, Dorsey averaged 17.0 points per game.

He was drafted 41st overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Dorsey now plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli Premier League.

(2) Jrue Holiday, Campbell Hall

Holiday was named the 2008 Gatorade National Player of the Year. He was a 2008 McDonald's All-American as well. As a senior at Campbell Hall, Holiday averaged 25.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 4.8 steals per game to help lead the Vikings to a 31-5 record and the California Division IV state title. As a junior, Holiday led Campbell Hall to a 33-1 mark and the 2007 Division 4 state title averaging 23.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 4.2 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. Campbell Hall finished the 2006-07 season ranked No. 15 nationally and No. 4 in the West Region by USA Today. Holiday was also selected as the 2007 Gatorade California Player of the Year. As a sophomore, he averaged 21.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.4 blocks per game as Campbell Hall finished 27-6. Holiday helped lead Campbell Hall to a perfect 32-0 record and a state title as a freshman as well.

He went on to play at UCLA before being drafted 17th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76er's. Holiday now plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. He was an NBA All-Star selection in 2013.
