Top-ranked Cathedral Catholic was off last week after the cancellation by Point Loma and will be hosting No. 2 Lincoln this week in one of San Diego's most anticipated high school football games of the year.

Carlsbad and Mission Hills were both impressive during road victories in the Avocado League on Friday and sit at third and fifth respectively, as the season heads into the final two weeks.

Here are SBLive’s Top 10 CIFSDS high school football rankings for the week of April 5. The rankings were compiled by SBLive California reporter Bodie DeSilva.

1. Cathedral Catholic (3-0)

The Dons were off following the cancellation by Point Loma. They'll host No. 2 Lincoln and Madison to finish out the season.

The Hornets imposed their will against Madison, beating the Warhawks 52-0. They'll have an enormous opportunity when they travel to top-ranked Cathedral Catholic this week.

3. Carlsbad (3-0)

Carlsbad led Oceanside 7-6 at halftime before a huge third quarter propelled them to a 30-12 win to remain unbeaten.

4. St. Augustine (2-1)

St. Augustine

The Saints were off last week following their loss to Cathedral Catholic. They'll finish up the season with trips to Oceanside and Lincoln.

5. Mission Hills (3-0)

Mission Hills moved to 3-0 with a 28-7 win over Torrey Pines on Friday. The Grizzlies are averaging 31 points per game and have allowed only one touchdown in each of their three games.

6. La Jolla (3-0)

La Jolla's offense continues to roll, scoring 63 points in last week's win over Mission Bay. They've now outscored their opponents 163-29 in just three games. Junior quarterback Jackson Stratton tossed six touchdown passes, three going to senior Devin Bale, and added another on the ground.

7. Granite Hills (4-0)

The Eagles beat Steele Canyon 40-33 to remain unbeaten and were able to reach the 40-point mark for the third time in four games. They'll take on Helix this week looking to take down the Highlanders for the first time since 2005.

8. Helix (2-2)

Helix

After a rough 0-2 start, Helix has stabilized things with back-to-back wins as they travel to seventh-ranked Granite Hills this week.

9. Poway (3-0)

Last week:10

Poway led Del Norte 48-7 at halftime, cruising to a 54-17 win on Friday. Sophomore quarterback Dylan Curry tossed four touchdown passes in the win.

10. Ramona (3-0)

Last week:NR

Ramona has been dominating their competition, scoring over 40 points in all three games and only allowing 12 total points. They'll finish up the season with Escondido and Valley Center.
