CARLSBAD -- La Costa Canyon outscored Sage Creek 25-11 in the third quarter on Monday night to help extend their seven-point halftime lead and cruise to a 78-68 victory. The Mavericks knocked down 13 three-pointers on the night, four of them coming from junior forward Vincent Berlucchi who finished with 20 points. Senior guard Brendan Perry added 19 points. Sage Creek junior Vishal Jayanthi led all scorers with 21 points. Check out the photos from the game below.
