St. John Bosco quarterback Katin Houser signs with Michigan State Spartans football

Houser was named an All-Trinity League second team selection earlier this week.

2022 St. John Bosco quarterback Katin Houser signed with Michigan State on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Houser split reps with Braves junior quarterback Pierce Clarkson this season. He ended the year completing 92 of 142 passes for 1,408 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed for five scores for a St. John Bosco team that went 10-2 and advanced to the semifinals of the Division 1 CIF Southern Section playoffs.

"Katin has done a phenomenal job in terms of becoming an elite quarterback in the SoCal area," St. John Bosco head coach Jason Negro said in August.
