NEWPORT BEACH– Sage Hill avenged a 16-point loss from Jan. 3 and notched its first win against Fairmont Prep in school history on Thursday in a 49-33 victory.

Zoie Lamkin led all scorers with 16 points for the Lightning, and Emily Eadie posted 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Annabelle Spotts added nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Isabel Gomez added five points and a handful of dimes for Sage.

Maddie Salud led Fairmont Prep with 10 points, Maile Oshita scored eight points, and Andrea Javier and Misty Twyman each finished with seven for the Huskies. Here's our complete highlight video from the game:
