The Mustangs captured their first CIF Championship since 1965

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Senior guard John Hapgood scored 15 of his 25 points in the second half to lift San Dieguito Academy over Scripps Ranch 67-56 on Thursday night in the San Diego Section Division 3 boys basketball championship game.

It's the first section championship for the Mustangs in boys basketball since they captured the 1A title in 1965.
