The Cougars win ninth straight game en route to section title

CONCORD, Calif. - Carondelet connected on 10 3-pointers to cruise past San Ramon Valley 69-49 on Friday night to win the CIF North Coast Section Open Division girls basketball championship.

It marked the ninth consecutive victory for the Cougars, who improved to 25-2.

Talana Lepolo scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Carondelet while Nya Epps added 14 points.

Natalie Pasco and Sadie Carter led San Ramon Valley (25-4) with 15 points each.
